Membership Fees

BECOMING A NEW MEMBER JUST GOT MORE EXCITING!

$180 for FULL memberships* (all ages) in the first year
50% off for the second year
No building fund application for the first two years!

*Full memberships are Single or Couple/Family memberships. Does not apply to Associate or Out of Town.

Adult singles under 24 that are university students living at home may be considered as part of their parents’ membership and not pay any fees, but would also not have any voting rights. University students under 24 living on their own would pay $180.

For all members (except Associate and Out of Town Fellows): There is a one-time fee of $1800 for the Synagogue Building Fund. This fee can be paid out in installments over a six-year period. Please contact the office to arrange payment.

Membership Age for Couples

The membership age is determined by the youngest in the couple.

University Students

University students under 24 living on their own would pay $180 for the first year.

Child Age in Memberships

Dependent Children under 18 are included in Family Memberships.

Associate Memberships

Associate memberships are only available to those who have a fully memberships at another synagogue.

Note: If you are making your first payment in June, and you are paying by cheque, please date your cheque June 1, 2024.

Financial Assistance

As always, financial Assistance is available for anyone unable to pay the scheduled fees. Please feel free to contact our shul president Avi Brodsky at president@cbto.ca to discuss financial assistance. These discussions are handled in the strictest confidence.

Existing Member Data Updates

For our existing members, please keep the office informed of any changes for you and your family. This includes the birth of children, change of address, etc. You can contact our office to make the change.
